star-burned and sun kissed— heaven’s fire… in a river wide, where pure golden light ignited the silence, invited me to swim, sink, let go, dive slow— deep, and deeper still, into the mystic blue, into sapphire silken whispers, on cool pearlescent moonlit breath, slid over, enfolded me, slipped inside me, traced delicately over my skin, soft and velvety, cradled eternity beneath white bone— weightless, in this womb of night, adrift farther, where skies shimmer, scatter droplets, glint in the glow— where fireflies dance, and crickets weave their woven songs in grassy throngs— here, in endless expanse, floating along— but never alone— with my dreams of you beside me.
Hello beautiful souls,
I don’t have too many words to accompany this piece. The past week was a strange one and I haven’t been feeling well except for in spurts.
This poem came to me two weeks ago in a flurry, like a river—it just poured out of me.
For my kin skywatchers, I noticed on Sunday (yesterday) that the moon is now in the constellation of Aquarius, the water bearer. I’m relishing the idea of myself pouring out water with the stars in the form of my poem to you down into a deep blue bioluminescent river.
The visuals were soothing to work on with the blue colors. I added some snippets from my journals along with my art. The audio was fun. I think it all came together quite beautifully. I hope you enjoy this small moment in time together. I love being here with you all. Thanks for reading.
All my deepest love…
